The Working Capital Loan is granted for between 1 and 12 months for the purchase of running business inputs like seeds, fertilizer and stocks. It has a number of repayment modalities. Loan principal can be repaid in any month and in any frequency, even as a lump sum at the end of the loan term. The reimbursement of loan principal at the end of the loan term, also called balloon loan, is favored by farmers whose income is predominantly seasonal. Loan interests need to be paid monthly, except for the balloon loan where it is possible to pay half of all interests at the beginning and half at the end of the loan term.
